The annual forum was again an outstanding success with a variety of inspiring presenters. The location was amazing with the hospitality from Arthur second to none.
Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) held a CRE forum in Sydney on the 8th of December, this forum was attended by in excess of 60 participants from all levels of government and representatives of greater Sydney based CRE’s. The outcome of this meeting and subsequent negotiations with SSROC is that a project and funding has been agreed to develop the CRN brand in the Greater Sydney region commencing in January 2017. SSROC are at the leading edge of maximising social enterprises in the greater Sydney Region and I would like to thank David Kuhn and his team for their support of social enterprises and understanding the many advantages of CRE”S within the region. This project is supported by the NSW EPA Waste Less Recycle More initiative funded by the waste levy.
This represents exciting times and many opportunities for the network moving into 2017 and beyond.
On behalf of myself, the Directors and the Committee I would like to wish every-one a very merry Christmas and look forward to an exciting 2017.
