To create jobs for long term unemployed people and for people with disabilities through the establishment of CRV's in local communities.

To reduce waste, energy use and greenhouse gases by establishing a CRV.

To assist community organisations embrace social enterprise through smaller recycling projects.

To develop a national network of CRVs.

To promote social enterprise through the publication 'A Guide to Starting a Community Recycling Venture in Your Community', describing the development in a step by step process which is easily replicated.
