This year to make the training accessible to Community Recyclers across Australia, the ERM Foundation will be delivering the training free via a webinar. A number of expressions of interest to participate in the training have been received and the date has now been set for the training to take place at 2pm on Tuesday 19th September.
What the training will cover
Providing an overview of key safety and environment topics to Community Recycling supervisors/managers, including: Managing safety risks, storage and handling of chemicals, reducing exposure to hazardous chemicals, managing noise exposure, providing safe plant and equipment, manual handling, managing traffic flow safely, storing and disposing residual waste according to environmental law, environmental and safety management systems (including ISO14001 and 18001).
