Green Collect was set-up by Sally Quinn and her partner Darren Andrews. Sally was working Women's Crisis housing and saw the need to be able to provide meaningful employment to people who faced some of life's most difficult circumstances. Darren's background was in Environmental Policy and Planning wanted to find a way to deal with some of the waste that was occurring in the city.
Green Collect provide an office collection service to collect cd's, computers, folders and more. One upcycled product they make is notebooks from old ring binder folders and outdated letterheads. Among the range of other products are fridge magnets and repackaged stationary. If you visit the Green Collect shop you can also pick up a range of eco products, upcycled clothing and more. Or you can find some great office products at the Green Collect online store.
Recently Green Collect relocated to Braybrook, if your in Melbourne it's well worth the trip to their warehouse to check it out. They also recently held a very successful VIP Shopping night in partnership with women of the West, were women could stop in for a bottle of wine and shop while they were there.
